These journals are indexed in several national and international databases, adhere strictly to worldwide recognized standards of good editorial practice, and have accordingly been accredited for their quality.
Foro de Educación was founded in 2003. The journal’s primary objective is to publish research, studies and critical essays on Education, in whatever spatial- and temporal context, with perspectives that are theoretical, philosophical, political, sociological, anthropological, economic and/or comparative and international.
El Futuro del Pasado.Revista electrónica de Historia, established in 2010, provides a forum for dialogue and debate among historians with different areas of expertise, but a particular interest in studying the past from fresh perspectives. The primary aim of El Futuro del Pasado is to break down the barriers between historical disciplines, forging links between researchers and contrasting the spirit of rivalry fostered by today’s increasingly competitive academic environments.
Espacio, Tiempo y Educación, first published in 2014, accepts research papers, studies and essays related to the History of Education. Its mission is to analyse all forms of Education and its delivery across space and time, but it focuses in particular on issues that require further or more rigorous investigation by the international community of Education historians, and areas in need of critical review.
All three journals have been accepted for indexing in the Emerging Sources Citation Index, a new edition of Web of Science™. Content in this index is under consideration by Thomson Reuters to be accepted in the Science Citation Index Expanded™, the Social Sciences Citation Index®, and the Arts & Humanities Citation Index®. The quality and depth of content Web of Science offers to researchers, authors, publishers, and institutions sets it apart from other research databases. The inclusion of Foro de Educación, Espacio, Tiempo y Educación and El Futuro del Pasado in the Emerging Sources Citation Index demonstrates our dedication to providing the most relevant and influential Social Sciences content to our community.
